Silver in 2018 Junior and Cadet Fencing World Championships - Verona

Congratulations to our fencer, Maxine Wong, on winning silver medal in Junior Women's Foil team event in 2018 Junior and Cadet Fencing World Championships held in Verona, Italy.

We would like to congratulate and thank coach Slava for his hard work and dedication as Singapore's women's foil national team coach in 2004 - 2012. He managed to establish a firm ground and foundation for this historic result for Singapore. 

Coach Slava has also been the main coach guiding the national team to victory in Verona during quarter and semi final matches against France and Germany respectively as well as assisting in round of 16 and final matches against Poland and USA.
